Terms of Service

Welcome to Airport Run. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our taxi and limousine transportation services, our website (www.airportrun.ca), and any related booking platforms. By accessing our platform or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Service provision & licensing

Airport Run operates as a licensed Vehicle-for-Hire (VFH) service in the Province of Ontario. We provide premium local transportation and airport transfer services primarily within Bowmanville, the Regional Municipality of Durham, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). All of our chauffeurs are fully licensed, and all vehicles meet or exceed provincial insurance and safety standards.

2. Booking, fares, and payments

We pride ourselves on transparent, distance-based pricing to ensure a fair experience for all riders:

• Flat-rate pricing: Fares are calculated based on the total driving distance between the pickup and drop-off locations at the time of booking.
• Vehicle rates: Our standard rate is $1.00 per kilometer for a Comfort SUV and $1.25 per kilometer for a Large XL vehicle.
• Quotes: The quoted price generated by our online booking system is the final price for the requested route. Detours, additional stops, or significant passenger delays requested after the booking is confirmed may result in additional charges.
• Payments: Payment links are sent securely via email when a trip status changes to Confirmed. Fares must be paid in full according to the terms outlined in your booking confirmation.

3. Cancellations & no-shows

To maintain our reliable dispatch schedule, we enforce the following cancellation policy:

• Standard cancellations: Cancellations made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will incur no penalty.
• Late cancellations: Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted fare.
• No-shows: If a driver arrives at the pickup location and the passenger fails to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled time without contacting Airport Run, the booking will be considered a "No-Show" and the full quoted fare will be charged.

4. Passenger conduct & vehicle policies

To ensure a safe and premium environment for both passengers and drivers, all riders must adhere to the following rules, in accordance with Ontario VFH regulations:

• Seatbelts: Under Ontario law, all passengers must wear a seatbelt at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
• Smoking & vaping: Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited inside all Airport Run vehicles.
• Alcohol & substances: The consumption of alcohol or illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited by law. Open containers of alcohol are not permitted in the passenger cabin.
• Damage & cleaning: Passengers are responsible for any damage to the vehicle interior or exterior caused by negligence, bodily fluids, or misuse. A minimum cleaning fee of $150.00 CAD will be applied if professional cleaning is required.
• Zero tolerance: Airport Run has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, harassment, or threatening behavior directed at our drivers. Drivers reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a ride immediately if a passenger is abusive or poses a safety risk.

5. Liability limitations

While we strive to provide guaranteed, on-time arrivals, Airport Run is not liable in the event of delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to: severe weather conditions, unexpected traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, or acts of God.

We are not responsible for missed flights, missed appointments, or any resulting financial losses due to delays. We strongly recommend booking your airport transfer with sufficient buffer time.

Airport Run is not responsible for personal items left in our vehicles. If you believe you have left an item behind, please contact our dispatch team immediately, and we will make every reasonable effort to locate and return the item.

6. Privacy & data collection

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data (such as name, phone number, email address, and location data via our Mapbox tracking system) for the purpose of fulfilling your booking.
