Three ways: a private ride from the terminal to your door (about 61 km, roughly 56 min without traffic, price shown before you book); UP Express to Union Station and then the GO Lakeshore East train to Whitby GO (about 1.5 hours of travel plus waiting, a change at Union and the trip from Whitby GO to your home); or a pickup by someone you know. With our ride you walk out of arrivals, send your driver a photo of the exit sign, and they come to you.
For one traveller, GO plus UP Express usually costs less. For families and groups the car can win: one fare covers everyone in the car (up to 4 passengers in a Midsize SUV, 6 in a Full Size SUV or Mini Van), while transit is paid per person, and there is no change at Union with luggage.
Pearson suggests arriving about 90 minutes before a domestic flight and 3 to 4 hours before an international one, so add the drive (roughly 56 min without traffic, longer at rush hour on the 401). Example: for a 9:00 a.m. flight to the US, plan a pickup around 5:00 a.m.
